Mosaic Creative
For 18 years, Jackie worked with her good friend and colleague, Bill Crooks, (community artist and facilitator) running their small training consultancy Mosaic Creative. Together they worked with churches and aid agencies, in the UK and overseas, seeking to address the key issues of poverty, vulnerability and marginalisation. Their way of working was to combine the creative elements of art and drama to make learning accessible, memorable and fun.
During these years Jackie and Bill created many resources to help churches engage with and work alongside their communities to bring transformation. Their latest resource, written for UK churches, Stories on the Street (SOTS) is available to buy from Lulu.com by clicking the link below.
This manual is written in six modules, each one containing creative Bible studies on the themes of vision, celebrating what we have, compassion, building relationships, understanding our community and stepping out in faith. Along with the Bible studies are a range of practical participatory tools that churches can use both in the church and also with their communities, with an emphasis on working together to address the needs of the vulnerable and marginalised.
